Is It an Emergency?
Whenever you have an emergency, please call us immediately. We provide emergency coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week. During business hours please give a description of your problem or question to our staff. They are well trained and can give guidance while the doctor is being contacted. Here are some questions you should be prepared to answer:
- How long has your horse been sick? What are the symptoms?
- What is his/her temperature?
- What is his/her attitude?
- Is the appetite normal? Are they drinking?
- Have you given the horse any medications?
